A few weeks ago, our front desk was subjected to a very thorough inspection by two very distinguished visitors from Sit With Me Rescue https://www.sitwithme.ca/. After carefully evaluating our office (and confirming that the treat situation met their standards), they decided Affinity might be a suitable place to spend the day.
Well... apparently one office tour wasn't enough.
With our audio department busier than ever, these two have officially joined the team as Assistant Audio Engineers. Their responsibilities include supervising recording sessions, monitoring edits, boosting team morale, and reminding everyone to take the occasional break. While we're still waiting on their first completed mix, they've certainly mastered the art of looking incredibly busy.
Of course, behind the fun photos is something much more meaningful.
Sit With Me Rescue is an Ottawa-based, foster-based dog rescue dedicated to giving homeless dogs a second chance. Through the dedication of volunteers and foster families, they provide medical care, rehabilitation, training, and plenty of love while helping each dog find the right forever home. Every dog has its own story, and every adoption creates space for another dog in need.
As we celebrate Canada Day, we're reminded that some of the best things about our country are the people and organizations who generously give their time to make life better for others (and, in this case, for some very deserving pups).
