He's our awesome student intern from Canadore College in North Bay! Originally from India and now living in Nairobi, Kenya, Jainil followed his passion for film and TV all the way to Canada after being inspired by Formula One racing.
Since arriving as an International Student in September 2023, he’s jumped right in—taking “Broadcasting for Television” and working camera for the North Bay Battalion (plus learning all about hockey in the process!).
A quick Google search for “video rental companies” brought him to us—and of course, we said “Come on down!” Jainil’s been spending time with us in production services and post-production, soaking it all in. Now he’s headed back to the Near North to begin the Canadian Work Permit process. His dream? To be behind the camera on the international Formula One racing circuit.
