In her own words: Hi, I’m Alex Brisebois-Clyne. I’m finishing the Film Production Program at Algonquin this summer.
I’m not 100% sure where I want to go or what I want to do after this, but I know I want to be a storyteller. It’s something that brings me joy and I want to bring joy to others. I adore writing, I even wrote the script for our thesis film and I’m the 1st AD on the project as well. Both my parents are educators, so I’ve always had a mindset geared towards learning. I’m a natural leader and I don’t shy away from taking charge if things need to get done.
I went to De La Salle Public Art School for high school, then went Concordia for Film Studies, but left after a year to come study at Algonquin College. In my first semester at Algonquin, I made a 3 min doc that aired on PBS called “Green Gramma”.
One day soon I’d like to move to Montreal, I fell in love with the city while living there during my time at Concordia.”
