Yes, we have a large open lot and loading zones.  No parking charges.

Affinity’s camera rental packages are custom built to clients’ specifications.  We do offer up basic packages that come with the camera body, memory cards, batteries, standard lens, tripod and transport cases as a starting point that we can modify during review with our clients.

Yes!  Typically, Affinity works with clients on a project by project basis designing rental camera, lighting, grip and accessories packages that are suitable for the television or movie production and that respects the production’s budget.

The short answer is yes; however, rentals of lower value items can be covered by a credit card deposit.  Rental clients are responsible for the replacement value of any equipment rented from Affinity.  There are affordable short term and long-term policies available that cover rented equipment, and we can provide some guidance.  Nobody “likes” to spend money on insurance, but it does protect both us and our clients from big losses.  We also seriously recommend you carry liability insurance that covers the location and people at the location(s) where you will be recording.  That burn on a carpet from a poorly placed hot lighting fixture can be expensive….

The price of animation varies depending on the desired length of the video as well as the complexity of the design. We love the approach where we discuss your video production needs and the style and design that you are envisioning and build a quote from there!

Absolutely.  We offer a full range of audio services.  These include voiceover recording sessions (in person, or with remote capabilities), sound design and sound effects editing, podcast editing, audio restoration, ADR sessions for TV and film, and mixing for TV and film.  If you have audio, we can help!

We offer in-house digitization from various legacy formats and media including VHS, Betamax, Betacam, Betacam SP, Digital Betacam, HDCAM, XDCAM Optical Discs, DV, Mini-DV, DVCPRO, DVCPRO-HD and more. We also provide real-time processing of digitized footage through our Teranex converter, which offers optional cropping, scaling, colour adjustments, noise-reduction, frame-rate conversion, SD-to-HD up-conversion and more.

Absolutely. We have years of experience making sure videos meet all accessibility standards, including Subtitles, Closed Captioning, Descriptive Video, and other-language versioning.

Any and all of them. We’ve produced content for streaming, broadcast, and theatrical release, as well as all social media platforms. Our talented shooters and editors can work with you to make sure your content will work across multiple platforms as well as in both horizontal and vertical format.

Yes! We have an after hours loading bay with pass cards that can be given on a per project basis. Let us know your schedule in advance and we can arrange for these to be provided with the rental.

Yes! We have a camera prep area that allows testing of gear in a secluded room with technicians available if needed. We also have in house power able to spark up to 4000W HMIs before loading them out the bay!

We have a Ford Transit Van that can deliver most small to medium sized orders. Rates are dependent on location and timing which can be discussed during rental booking!

Of course! We have multiple technicians on staff that know the gear inside and out and would be happy to assist with any issues. Our video production services are reachable 24/7 in case of any technical emergencies to ensure you are up and running again as quickly as possible!
